RIDER PROFILE
Name: Nancy Sheinbein
Age: 56
Hometown: I live in Los Angeles but I was born in Boston.
Years of SUP: Since October 2011.
Riding style: I’d like to learn how to go faster! My dream is to get a “Bark Board.”
Regular Foot , Goofy or Switch? Can someone please explain to me what this means?
Where is you favorite break? I like calm seas. I would preferable choose to go out during a very early sunrise, beautiful afternoon sunset or romantic moonlit evening.
Claim to Fame: My kids! Not only do I love them but I like who they are as people. My future goal is to start a state wide campaign called SUP/SUP. Stand Up Paddleboarders Scoop Up Pollution. Being out on the water is a privilege and I’d like to encourage the entire SUP community to work together as a team to positively “give back” to the environment. “Every day, Everywhere, Everyone takes out a board, paddle and a “net” and comes back in with trash found floating in the water!” We all see it, so why not do something about it?
Person you'd most like to be on the water with: Anyone who loves water sports, but ideally my son, Ryan and/or daughter, Shelly!
Best sunset you ever witnessed: Duxbury, Massachusetts “It doesn’t get any better!”
Guilty pleasure: Long Hot Showers, Staying up Really Late at Night
Catchiest song in your playlist: All songs by Coldplay
Food in your belly right now: Grilled Chicken and Vegetable Salad with a Homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette, Chai Tea and a Hot Fudge Sundae
